Works great, nice 48 emulator! Thank you for the effort, now I can RPN where ever I am. Works great on my iPhone 5s and seems to support all of standard rom math functions.

All it needs is a better icon for the app :-) But as others have pointed out, it freezes and the only way to get it to work again is to uninstall and reinstall.

Would not accept input

I own the real thing, hp 48GX. This app does a nice job of emulation. But it frequently does not accept button pushes, e.g., the decimal point. Therefore useless as a calculator! I have iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.

I love this calculator as my original HP 48 GX calculator was stolen. However, it crashes every few weeks. I have to delete the app and then re-download it to get it to work again.

The App would be great if it actually worked. Using on my 4S. Button pushes often dont register. The app constantly seizes up and sometimes crashes altogether. The only way to correct is to uninstall and reinstall. Dont bother with this one.

I really like having my old 48 everywhere I go - but its missing one thing. It desperately NEEDS SOUND. I often think Im hitting a key but actually not, so I often have to redo my calculations. If the app made a "click" for each key stroke it would solve the problem. I think the developer should make available the ability to turn he sound on and off, and even make volume an option. It would be nice to be able to chose the sounds. Maybe even be able to chose different sounds for different keys - numbers, functions, enter,.... Id also like them to make the screen a little bigger, so there are more lines of numbers. The one other upgrade I would like to see is the ability to change the colors. Maybe even independently so each user can chose the color of the numbers, keys, background, screen and text (independently of the the other colors for each) Ill say I havent updated to the latest version, Im worried if I do it wont work (as is often the case with many apps). Make these changes and youll have the perfect calculator.

I have a iPhone 6+. with the latest version and it doesnt work. I press the numbers and nothing shows on the screen. I get the click but that is it.

My old HPGXs buttons are wearing out, and this app is a great replacement!

Working great on an iPhone 6. Love having my favorite huge calculator hidden inside my iPhone.

Markus Gonser m48 app does not work with 6. Great to have my favorite calculator back in use.

M48 stopped working after iOS update. Installed this but it is a pale comparison. Need to try a little harder.

This works OK on my 5s but buttons sometimes need a second hit to function. But since M48 no longer works, this is the 48G app for me.

Been using it for years. Needs an update but I can wait. Thanks for the great support over the years.

I would avoid this HP48 app due to the frustrating lagging keyboard which results in a lot of data entry errors.

Calc freezes while entering simple RPL program. Deleted

Works on my iPad mini running iOS 8. You need to respond to the "Recover Memory" message ..... After that all works correctly.

I like this app on my iPad mini but the interface is really hard to use on my iPhone 6. I have to hit the buttons multiple times to enter data. Makes for a lot of errors. Bummer. I wish the M48 app still worked on IOS.
